04/13/17 A PASTOR, NOT A HIRELING
Okay, was the message from the donkey to Balaam any less true because it was Balaam's donkey?
Were the directives from Noah to Shem, Ham and Japheth any less true because he was their father?
Was the warning from Lot to his family any less accurate because he was their father?
Believe it or not, there are some people who say that my counsel, preaching, teaching and pastoral leadership to my children is flawed because I am their father. What devil ya rekon came up with that lie. If it is truth, it is truth, no matter what donkey says it. hee haw, hee haw.
Psst, c'mere, I think the devil is trying to rob my family of sound Biblical truth. Methinks someone has an ugly, ulterior motive.
Although this is posted from a personal point of view, the principle is valid for any pastor who is faithful to his calling.
Think about it. If this lie is true (???) then a pastor cannot pastor his wife.
