To be allured from God and His truth
Leads to destruction, not construction;
Leads to digression and retrogression, not progression.
Retrogressive (falsely called "Progressive") is the way, and the tool, and the culture of failure, loss and eternal separation from God. Another misnomer is Liberal. "Liberal" or Progressive or Emergent (Emerging) worldview leads to, and culminates in, a netherworld reality.
It started in the Garden when Eve doubted God and Satan "explained" what God "really meant," when God restricted Adam and Eve from eating of the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. When the clear directives from God are explained away, then the life is guided by demonic deception.
THE TRUTH IS,
Jesus did die for the sins of the whole world.
Without holiness of heart and life, no man shall see the Lord.
God does call us to a life of self denial.
The Christian life is a life of restrictions and denials.
It restricts and denies the power of death.
It restricts and denies the pollution of sin.
It restricts and denies the pervasive and perversive influence of the "angel of light" (Satan).
James 3:13-18
(13) Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
(14) But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
(15) This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
(16) For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
(17) But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
(18) And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
