06/13/17 GOD'S PACKAGING

06/13/17 GOD'S PACKAGING
(beyond the natural)

If you know me well, you know that I am enamored with the way God packages His work. God has given natural protection to certain fruits and vegetables and nuts, such as:
Bananas (remove the peel and it is ready to eat),
Coconuts (encased in a transportable, floatable, and protective shell),
Apples (covered with a washable skin that keeps them from oxidization),
Chicken eggs (kept clean and storable in an easily removable shell).

We could follow this concept into the micro and macro worlds. For instance, the earth is protected by ozone and atmosphere and gravity.

WOW, HOW AWESOME GOD IS.

God has also packaged His own characteristics in a remarkable way in nature, including beauty, order, life, unity, justice, revelation.

BUT BEYOND THE NATURAL

God packaged Himself in a human body. Jesus, the Son of God, has always existed, but He did not always possess a human body. It was in His incarnation that God became a man. It is in Jesus we see Divine characteristics flawlessly displayed and communicated to mankind (such as love, mercy, compassion, sacrifice, kindness, gentleness, longsuffering, joy, peace, wisdom).

But God also packages His ministry, His redemption, His truth, as well as His love and other communicable traits in His people (both individually and corporately). God designed and created mankind as a habitat for Himself.

Sin separated men from God, but God provides for reconciliation through the virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death and physical resurrection of Jesus. When a person receives Christ into his life, God enters that person's life and when a person fully dedicates and trusts God completely, God delivers that person from all unrighteousness.

But God created man as male and female, husband and wife. The individual, and the husband wife, and the nuclear family, and ultimately the Body of Christ, The Church, is God's habitat.

Seldom do we see a whole church or even an entire family, and sadly, a husband and wife relationship that is filled with and fully used by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Still, this is God's plan. Don't miss out on the personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ and don't miss out on the miracle of a Spirit filled marriage, and don't miss out on a unified family life and ministry, and if possible, don't miss out on a local body of believers that are of one mind. You cannot make others conform to the will of God, but you can see to it that you are sold out to God completely.
