WOW, but I will come back to that later.

Through the years I have preached the great truths of God, including holiness of HEART AND LIFE, body (church) life, the Lordship of Christ over the Church and the local body of believers and individual believers.

I am not a singer. If I was a singer I would be banned from society, because I would wear people out with my singing. Since I am not a singer, I decided to use my gifts and calling to teach and preach God's truth to the best of my ability. (see, I told you I would wear people out). Though I am not a singer or musician, God has blessed me with many wonderful parishioners who are musically gifted. My brothers and sisters have often taken my messages and lessons and put them to music. Now, back to the WOW.

WOW, I listen to songs that our people have written and sung over the years and I am awestruck. The music is pleasant, soothing, stirring, disturbing, exalting and the words tell incredibly great truths in a very clear and powerful way. Not only are the words thoughtfully crafted and the music beautifully composed and arranged, but most importantly the message is solidly Biblical and supported with Scriptures. And the message is vital for Christian living in this world today.

I was reminded of this yesterday when the ladies sang "Walk In Victory." The song was written by Kim Gregory and Joe Schiren in 1982. I want to share those words with you.

INTRO:

So many folks are living lives that lead to misery,

DLG note... If you are not being taught, built up, encouraged, trained in victorious living, power over sin, then you need to find a pastor and church that does preach and teach God's word.
