06/28/17 STRANGE SALVATION

Sinning religion has a strange "salvation." It can save a man from murdering, stealing, worshiping false gods, beating his wife, drug addiction, child abuse, but then it can't save a person from other sins which are not as repugnant. (Yes, all sin is vile, but some sins are called abominations because they are so repugnant to God). How strange that God can save killers, gamblers, druggies, infidels, unfaithful spouses and child molesters from their sins, but can't save the supposed elect from less consuming sins.

OF COURSE, true salvation saves believers (God's people, Mt. 1:21) from all of our sins. Yes, we are still able to choose to rebel, but God's grace is greater than sin and we are enabled to resist temptation, ALL THE TIME.

For the person who believes in sinning religion, but also believes that once in a while God's grace delivers from temptation, why not resist all temptation, believing God for deliverance, JUST IN CASE that particular temptation is one that can be overcome? (hmmm)

The god of sinning religion has either powerless grace, or inadequate love, or both.
