It is great insofar as God enables us to choose to be submitted to His will and be conformed to the image of Christ and joined to Him for eternity.
It is terrible insofar as God allows us to resist truth, love, Divine calling, through self deception, hatred and demonic allure.
Sometimes Truth And Words And Love Are Not Enough
I watch as some people rise above their trials through faith in Christ and His word.

I watch as some people rise above their trials through faith in Christ and His word.
I also watch while others blame God for their disappointments and cling to their anger and resentment, which drags them down like an anchor, further and further from God, from loved ones and from eternity with God. All the love of God and other believers is staunchly rejected.
It especially hurts if you watch blood kin become ensnared and destroyed by blaming the One Who sacrificed His only Son for their benefit.
Proverbs 11:1-3
(1) A false balance is abomination to the LORD (hated by the LORD): but a just weight is his delight.
(2) When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly (the humble) is wisdom.
(3) The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness (twisted ways) of transgressors (rebels) shall destroy them.
