(regardless of what anyone tells you).
* It is not just that, "I believe" God loves sinners, it is a BIBLICAL FACT that God loves sinners, and He is not willing that any should perish, and Jesus is the satisfaction for everyone.
* It is not my opinion that God draws people who respond with resistance and rejection they resist the calling and the drawing of God.
* It is not simply a human view that says God wants people to repent, and He enables them to turn from sin, but God also allows them to freely and willfully to reject His offer and His provision of salvation.
God loves the world so much that He provides salvation for the world.
God created human beings with the freedom of choice.
God does not countermand Himself by unilaterally saving some, and damning others
If God chose to unilaterally and unconditionally save some and to leave others without hope, then God would be showing favoritism (being a respecter of individuals), which contradicts what God has revealed about Himself.
If God chose to unilaterally and unconditionally save some and to leave others without hope, then God would be showing favoritism (being a respecter of individuals), which contradicts what God has revealed about Himself.
Instead, God gave individuals the freedom and ability to either trust Him or deny Him.
Receiving God's offer of salvation is evidenced when people,
* Trust and follow God's plan of salvation,
* Repent of their sins,
* Confess their sins to Christ and,
* Confess Christ to others, and
* Obey God's will.
These are not man made approaches to God. These are God's revealed steps of salvation.
God invites you to eternal life.
God is all powerful and yes, God does invite us.
However, God cannot make us receive Jesus any more than God can lie or sin, because it would mean that God would have to violate His own nature and will.
God willed for man to be a free moral agent.
God willed for man to be saved by faith.
God willed that salvation is a choice.
God cannot violate His Own will, which is based on His nature (love and truth and justice).
If God could make us receive Jesus, we would not actually worship and serve God freely, therefore we would not actually be worshiping God
Also, God did far more than simply invite us.
God planned from the beginning that He would provide salvation.
God gave His only begotten Son for us.
God gave His Holy Spirit to convict, convince and convert us.
God draws us to Himself.
God enlightens and enables us to believe.
