1 ...Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
We cannot help what others will do, but we can do all within our power to live at peace and in unity with others. We cannot compromise the essentials of the gospel, which is why the Bible says,
John 13:35
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Romans 12:18
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
1 Corinthians 1:10
10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
Philippians 2:2
2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Hebrews 12:14
14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
