THE BEST GIFT YOU CAN GIVE THIS CHRISTMAS
I have friends and loved ones who have chosen something or someone else to be their ultimate authority in life, other than God and His word (the Bible), or they have chosen to interpret the Bible contrary to the way it is written. Sadly, they do not have eternal life because God will hold us accountable for our loyalty and the way we live our lives. If we choose to live separated from the will and word of God we will spend eternity separated from Him.
Jesus said that He is the only way to heaven.
Jesus said we must be born again.
Jesus said we must deny ourselves and follow Him fully.
Keep in mind, we are either drawing people to Christ or leading them away. Those who we lead away from Christ will spend eternity in tormented separation from God. Don't be smug in self righteousness and self assurance, it is costing your loved ones their souls.
The greatest Gift in the universe is the gift of God's salvation through His Son. You and I can offer that Gift only if we have received that Gift from the King of kings, and if we are His ambassadors proclaiming reconciliation through obedient faith in Christ.
