How sad if Jesus had not come.
How sad if the angels had not sung.
How sad if no one had done God's will
How sad if the shepherds had stayed on the hill.
How sad if the natal star had not shone.
How sad if the Magi had not known.
How sad if Herod had reached the Boy.
We would be filled with misery instead of joy.

How sad that most folks of today,
Deny God's rule and reject His way.
They do not worship or serve the King,
They say the Bible is not their thing.
They choose to follow a damning path,
Leading their families to eternal wrath.
They mock the ones who take the cross,
And choose instead eternal loss.

How sad that...
religion has replaced salvation,
self righteousness has replaced justification,
personal views have replaced Divine revelation.

BUT JOY WILL REPLACE SORROW
IF WE SURRENDER AND FOLLOW,
THE ONE WHO DIED AND ROSE AGAIN,
TO SAVE US FROM A LIFE OF SIN.

I obviously do not think that the incarnation stood in jeopardy. God was going to send His Son without a question. However, people either choose to follow Christ in faith or they choose to be their own God. When people reject God's will and way, they mislead friends and family away from God and eternal life. Neglecting and rejecting the Biblical way is a testimony to selfishness, and callousness to the eternal destiny of other people.
