2 Peter 3:8-13
(8) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
(9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
(10) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
(11) Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
(12) Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
(13) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Praise the Lord for the good things He has done during these first days of the Trump Administration. I believe God has final authority over the affairs of men and nations, but I also know that God gives the choice of right or wrong to humans (otherwise there would be no sin).
Yes, God can and often does overrule government leaders, for a greater purpose. Whether you like it or not, at least (up to this point in time) Trump and his wife have not hated America, have not toned down the use of the name of Jesus (to any degree, as far as I know), though the Obama's were open and obnoxious in their disdain for...

I hope for the salvation of the Obamas and Trumps, but I am grateful that some good things are already taking place in our country, with the cooperation of the Trump Administration.
I never have, I am not now, and I will not in the future trust in chariots and horses, thrones and dominions of men. I have prayed for leaders no matter how wicked they were and I am hoping that the openness to the Christian message will reach some, or all, of those in the Trump family.
God was good during the dark days of the Obama debacle, God is good today. I am glad that we are not presently in a daily, minute by minute struggle against the total corruption of Obama, Clinton, Holder and Kerry.
God does hear and answer prayers. I believe the good things that are happening is God's response to the faithful prayers of those who call on Him.
