01/10/17 GOING DOWN

It use to be a shock to hear someone to use the name of God in a curse. Oh, there were certain foul mouthed, Christ-less self centered people (especially the heathen men of the community, who stupidly equated crudeness with manhood), but society in general maintained a level of social decorum. Even the entertainment was somewhat controlled and civil. But today the filth flows like sewage from a backed up commode, and no one blinks an eye or turns up a nose.

The old line is, "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings." Well, I won't vouch for that idea, but I will tell you unequivocally that every time a foul word or an evil deed goes unchecked, the devil advances his kingdom of darkness.

People today are living with no remorse for their selfishness, sinfulness, soul sickness. The cup of iniquity is being filled up more every day in our society and is about to overflow as a flood, sweeping away children younger than ever before.

Be sure to call your loved ones to repentance.

Be sure to live by God's standard and live in the power of His Spirit.

Be sure your sin will find you out.

This world is going down faster and farther than any preacher can tell.
