01/29/17 THERE IS A REASON

Ya ever wonder why otherwise nice, loving, kind, morally driven, friendly people are united in their resistance to...

* killing babies,* sexual relations outside of marriage,* homosexuality,* promoting Islam and mocking Christianity,* gambling,* drugging (smoking, drinking, shooting, sniffing, popping, or whatever),* profanity,* obscenity,* and a growing list of other socially acceptable activities?

Because the God of the Christian Scriptures "says so." It is not just a matter of interpretation. God does not condemn these evils because He is a "divine spoiled sport." He condemns that which is bad for us and that which is contrary to His holiness. Remember, He is God, and we accept what He says, because He says it. PERIOD.

It is called sin, and sin has always been acceptable to those who reject God as their ultimate authority. Sin (at varying levels) is the preferred way of life for those who do not accept God's authority.

And notice, Bible believing, Christ following people are the only ones that are not given any tolerance in a world of tolerance. Don't forget, Christians have been slaves of sin and then realized that Jesus died and rose again to save us from our sins. We loved sin until we received Christ. We love sinners, because Christ died for them, but we hate sin because God hates it.

We choose to walk in the way of God, because we love Him, not because we are "kill joys."

God arbitrarily determines the code of life and God allows humans to choose whether we will live by His righteousness or against His will. We do not have the choice as to what is His will.

The less a society honors God and His word, the longer the list of acceptable sins will be to that society. The more tolerant a society becomes to that which God condemns, the less tolerant that society becomes of Christians, the Holy Bible, and the God of the Holy Bible.
