01/25/17 OUR FOCUS DETERMINES OUR BALANCE
The devil does not have to get us to spend our energy in wicked pursuits. All he has to do is get us to whine about our problems. It all produces dark negativity.

If we complain long enough, we don't even realize we are complaining; we just think we are commenting. Maybe inside of our own minds we are well balanced, but a regular flow of fussing indicates to those who observe us that we have an inner imbalance.

By the way, if we are going to be imbalanced, we should lean toward the praise and positive side. Our focus determines our balance.

Philippians 4:6-9 (ASV)
(6) In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
(7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
(8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
