01/02/17 CHOOSE THE PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

01/02/17 CHOOSE THE PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Today, Monday, is the first work day of the of the first week of the first month of the new year.

Today we set a course that will have eternal ramifications.

Though we may be able (MAY BE ABLE) to change course at a later time, we can never change what we have done.

Though we may be forgiven (MAY BE FORGIVEN) of our sins against God and our offenses against other people, the impact of our sinful actions may never be changed.

Sometimes the eternally damning moment comes upon us suddenly, but then we have to live with the consequences for a life time (if not longer), and others have to live with the consequences for a life time (if not longer).

The sooner we choose to walk in the light of God's leading, the less we will do damnable and destructive things.

The more faithful we are to walk in the light of God's leading, the less likely we are to do that which is damnable and destructive.

Faithfully walking in the light of God's leading results in deliberate steps of deliverance from that which is damnable and destructive, and it also is protected by God's hidden hand, from unseen and unexpected snares.
It is important to walk in the light of God's leading.
It is important not to walk away from light of God's leading.
It is important to not walk without the light of God's leading.

We are children of God, IF we walk in the light of God's leading.
John 8:12
(12) Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 12:35
(35) Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

Romans 8:14
(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Galatians 5:16
(16) This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

1 John 1:7
(7) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
