01/21/17 THE LOVE OF GOD IN US IS THE ANSWER

Everyone is loving. The problem is, what kind of love do they have and what is the object of that love.

* Love of self is destructive.* Love of pleasure is destructive.* Love of the world is destructive.* Love of spiritual darkness is destructive.

BUT THE LOVE OF GOD IN US IS CONSTRUCTIVE

My observation is, the more a person loves Jesus, the more he/she wants love to flourish in his/her own life and in the lives of those around him/her.

Jealousy, suspicion, envy, hatred, anger, lust, greed, deceit, judgmentalism are overcome and purged by the fullness of God's love. In fact, walking in love is the fulfilling of the law.

Love not only flushes sin out of our own lives, it covers a multitude of sins that others raise against us. Remember, there is no shortage of love; there is a shortage of people who are filled with the love of God.
