08/16/17 BE REAL

Isn't it odd,
When we wear a facade,
We fool ourselves,
Rather than others or God?

BE REAL...
Recently I addressed the fact that reality is in God. Anything other than truth, other than the will and way of God is an alternate reality.

When people seek to be something other than the person God intended for them to be, they live a lie.

This is true for the sinner who pretends to be righteous and for the person who exchanges a loving, tender, sensitive, caring life for a life of self assertion, self satisfaction, self rule.

When people play a part rather than being the person God wants them to be, they are "play acting," they are hypocrites.

Pride rejects God's will, plan, reality of life.
Pride wears a face, plays a part that primarily fools the person who is playing the part. But many who watch the "play acting," see past the mask and the greasepaint, and know that the person is living a sham. And, God is never fooled.

When the final curtain drops, the play is over and the dark reality of Divine judgment begins.
