I want to praise Jesus for what He is doing and is about to do. I have been sick with some kind of bug since last Friday. It started as an aggravation but became a real difficulty in just a couple of days, which resulted in my cancelling services on Sunday.
In fact, as much as I do not like to go to doctors, I decided last evening that I was going to go today. Coughing, weepy eyes, sore throat, congestion and a body racked with pain from violent coughing attacks, plus the inability to get any real sleep just about wore me out.
Today I saw a doctor and now I have some meds. I have not been this sick in a long time, but praise the Lord, He has kept me and He is providing relief.
I have missed my time with the grandchildren and the time on the water, and my time writing articles. I have been so strong and active over the past 15 months in Beaufort that I had forgotten what it is like to be sick.
I don't take the blessing of health lightly. I know that God is the giver of every good and perfect gift. Thank you Jesus.
