Have you ever listened to someone, as they spoke a foreign language, and you just could not get the meaning of the words?

Have you ever spoken to someone in your own language, but watched them as their faces went blank, because they did not understand your words

I have even known families, with husband and wife from two different countries (ie Scotland and Mexico, living in Warez), and the father could barely communicate with his own children.

This is what happens when I speak the words of faith to people who are either totally void of faith or limited in understanding because of their own dullness of hearing.

Their dullness of hearing is the result of various problems, such as...
They have not learned because they do not listen with their hearts.
They have not learned because they have not studied the word of God in depth and applied themselves to understand the language of God in the soul.
They have not learned because they believe that their belief in the temporal is sufficient for understanding the eternal.
They have not learned because they fill their mind and soul on the husks of the world's pigsty rather than feasting at the table which God sets before us in the presence of our enemies.
They have not learned because they feel more at home in this present evil world than they do sitting together in heavenly places.
They have not learned because they do not have a clear view of heaven in their warped view of life.

They have ears, but they hear not.

How sad it must make the Father to have people He loves, but they refuse to listen to Him and hear Him and seek Him.
