08/13/17 SECONDS PLEASE
In a negative response to the phrases, "Second Blessing Holiness," or, "A Second Work of Grace," Calvinists tell me that they don't stop with the SECOND BLESSING, and they have had more than TWO WORKS OF GRACE in their lives.
When they say this, they give evidence that they have no idea about the INFILLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT CLEANSES FROM ALL SIN, SUBSEQUENT TO THE INITIAL WORK OF SALVATION (including justification, regeneration, adoption).
In fact, they must have never reached Entire Sanctification or they would not ridicule the SECOND BLESSING, the FULNESS OF THE BLESSING, the DOUBLE PORTION.
Holiness of heart and life is not just a doctrinal distinctive, it is the goal of salvation.
