Here is the quote from Ravi Zacharias, which I wanted to share in my message.
"Jesus does not offer to make bad people good, but to make dead people alive."

"Yes" to the last part, but you have to throw away your Bible to say that Jesus does not offer to make bad people good. In fact,
He makes wicked people righteous,
He makes evil people holy,
He makes sinful people pure.

Not only does He make "bad people good" (righteous, holy, pure), He saves us from sin, which is the very cause of death. Believers are alive from the dead because
we are not dead in our sins and trespasses, and
sin, when it is finished, brings forth death, and
the wages of sin is death.

In fact, the verse just before Romans 3:23 (the wages of sin is death), says
Romans 6:22
(22) But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
