04/06/17 SOME QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
QUESTION...
Where is the first place in the Bible that tells us that sin does not separate us from God?
ANSWER...
There are two answers.
#1 The Garden of Eden.
#2 Genesis 3:1-5.
Both answers reference the lie that the father of lies told to Eve. Satan has been telling that lie ever since.
ANOTHER QUESTION...
Where is the last place in the Bible that tells us that our spiritual (and moral) condition at death will indicate our eternal destiny?
ANSWER...
There are two answers again.
#1 The Isle of Patmos.
#2 Revelation 22:11-12
Both answers reference the truth that Jesus (Who is the truth) told to John, in the last words of the infallible and inerrant and Divinely inspired revelation of God.
YET ANOTHER QUESTION...
Where is the last place in the Bible that tells us that changing the word of God will cost a person his soul (as Satan does when he says that sin does not separate people from God)?
ANSWER...
Revelation 22:18-19
MY POINT...
From beginning to end, the Holy Bible, the Revealed Word of God, tells us that either we will be separated from God by our sins or we will be separated from our sins by God. Everything in between Genesis and Revelation is consistent in teaching that the wages of sin is death and that Jesus saves His people from their sins in this present evil world. Don't believe the lie that we have no choice, or the lie that our works do not relate to our salvation.
Ephesians 2:8-10
(8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
(9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
