A Bible preacher declares and explains the mysteries and the principles of God to his people and he trains them in successful Christian living.
The concepts that seem so simple and even incidental are often the keystones of godliness and victory.
I have tons of examples, but let me share this one with you.
FELLOWSHIP. Yep, fellowship. The Bible clearly teaches that fellowship is essential to victorious and successful Christian living. A person who does not seek to be in deep fellowship with his local body of believers is asking for troubles that will undermine and destroy his relationship with God.
God designed us to be an active and sensitive part of a family and God designed Christians to be an active and sensitive part of a strong and Biblical local church.
The person who never "fits in" because of personal (yet unBiblical reasons) is also the person who never submits to pastoral and spiritual authority.
The body of believers and the ministry of the word are intended to guide, encourage and strengthen believers in difficult times and lead them into victory over the enemy.
Hebrews 10:24-25
(24) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
(25) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
1 John 1:7
(7) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
