03/25/17 CRAZY DAVE

03/25/17 CRAZY DAVE

Just so you know that not everyone has lost their mind or been fooled, I still celebrate "THE RESURRECTION."

I realize that most people think that the name of a pagan prostitute goddess mixed with the images of false fertility goddess worship is acceptable when celebrating the most special and significant event IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE, but I ain't one of 'em.

BTW, do you really think angels refer to the resurrection of Christ as "EASTER?" Now that I think about it, I strongly suspect the demons do.

It is one thing for Christians through the centuries to be misled, but once we know the facts and the truth, shouldn't we be eager to ditch the pagan trappings, in favor of the spiritual importance? If not for ourselves, how about for the children? If you don't think it matters, ask the children what they think of first when they hear "Easter." Then ask yourself why the children don't stay with the church or continue in the faith as they get older. Maybe it is because the church taught them that fantasy, and candy and pagan trappings were more important than the truth of the Bible. Consider this; the children are being drawn to the cults (which are built on disbelief of the Holy Bible), because they hear the cults accurately criticize the shallowness and the pagan orientation of supposedly BIBLE BELIEVING churches.

I know it sounds like I am rambling, but that is because I am. In other words, the issue is larger than the time I want to spend on it, but the facts support my ramblings. I don't want to spend a lot of time or energy on it because I have already done that for years, and to be honest, I end up looking like CRAZY DAVE.

IMAGINE THAT. The guy who says we ought to honor the greatest event in the history of the universe by calling it THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST, rather than celebrate it by calling it by the name of a prostitute demon, and including fertility demons, and focusing on rabbits and eggs and robbing our children of the power of Christ over sin, Satan and the sepulcher.

Do you really think Jesus wants all this paganism associated with His sacrificial death and triumphant victory over the grave? Do you really think Paul and the other Apostles would have referred to it as Easter? Would they have focused on rabbits and eggs, which are symbols of pagan fertility worship?
