03/30/17 I HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE

Most folks do not realize that the term, "The Big Bang Theory" (TBBT) was a term used by an astronomer who was actually trying to discredit the Genesis record, which states that God created everything from nothing, as Divine fiat. Hoyle was making light (hehehe) of the idea that everything in the universe came into existence in an instant (like a big bang), rather than over a long and slower process, which is now related to biology's macro evolution, or Darwin's Evolution of the Species.

The term (TBBT) has come to be associated with the idea that it is in conflict with the Biblical account of creation. While there are aspects of The Big Bang Theory (as presented by the so-called, scientific community), which conflict with the Biblical account of creation, the concept of a sudden and momentary act of God creating everything from nothing is consistent. It is consistent with the idea of an "old universe" but a "young earth" concept, which is what we actually read in the creation of the universe, the creation and then the rebellion of Lucifer and the fall of angels, resulting in cosmic chaos (Genesis 1:1-2) leading to the Six Days of Creation (Genesis 1:3-2:9).

In spite of the fact that there are some Christians who disagree with the idea that God created the universe, and then there was rebellion by Satan, which resulted in the world becoming a wasteland, there is Biblical reason to believe in an "old universe" (untold amount of time) and a "young earth," as it exists (only six to ten thousand years old).

Sadly, those who do not believe that the angels were created prior to the six days of creation, make the false claim that those of us who do believe in a major time lapse between Genesis 1:2 and Genesis 1:3 do not believe the six days of creation or the Biblical account of creation. I, on the other hand, choose not to accuse those believers of unbelief in the creation, but that they don't believe the creation account the way I do. My understanding is as well founded as their position (more so, otherwise I would believe what they believe). No Scripture is subject to private interpretation, but the fact is that some of God's revelation does not answer all of our questions about that subject.

Those who are familiar with this subject have noticed that I did not use the term, The Gap Theory of Creation. I chose not to use that term because there are various and conflicting views associated with that title. Also, when a person reads the arguments against "the Gap Theory" they are not actually presented with all of the pertinent information and Biblical evidence.

Conclusion...
God created everything in a moment, from nothing.
God did not create emptiness, chaos, confusion, wastelands.
God created the angels.
Lucifer, the leading angel (who became Satan, the devil), led a group of angels in a rebellion against God.
There was war in heaven.
God cast Satan and the fallen angels (demons) down from heaven to the world, and it became a wasteland of emptiness and confusion.
God moved over a world in chaos and in six literal days He created the earth, as we know it, with vegetable life, animal life and human life.
God gave dominion of this world (Earth) to Adam and mankind.
